About SITAB

I founded SITAB (Sandvikens Industritekniska AB) 1989 with the business idea of meeting the steel and paper industries’ need of specially manufactured components and machines, spare parts, maintenance and reparations. Today, SITAB has 35 employees, among them my sons Emil and Martin.

My goal with SITAB has always been to improve each year and for both our machinery and products to continuously develop and improve. To succeed in doing this we train our staff on an ongoing basis in new aspects of materials, technology and products and ensure they remain flexible and focused on the quality of their work. We regularly attend training and I greatly appreciate my employees’ efforts and great know-how.

SITAB's three greatest assets are:

  • availability – we always do our utmost for our customers both in emergency situations as well as planned projects.
  • our expertise with thicker materials – we handle many materials and projects that few other companies in Sweden can.
  • our staff - their commitment, knowledge and experience makes our business possible.

Today our customers are located within a one-hundred kilometre radius of Sandviken. Our customer base consists of small, medium and large companies mainly within the steel and paper industry. SITAB can today, together with the large and competent network it has built up, help its customers with most of their needs.

Having worked within the steel and engineering industry my entire life I have found my calling in production and customer liaisons. When my sons one day take over the business I will try to support their decisions (but not interfere too much!) and will assist the company for as long as I am able!
